Lewis and Clark Reach the Euphrates

Synopsis:

A picaresque journey  re-imagining the missteps of those intrepid explorers, Lewis and Clark, as they try to realize President Jefferson’s dream of an “Empire of Liberty.” Accompanied by Clark’s slave, York, and Sacagawea, their Shoshone guide, the Corps of Discovery struggles to achieve their mission under the surprisingly heavy weight of Manifest Destiny, as well as an acutely bad sense of direction. A tragi-comedy in two centuries.
